He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVern Young and Ruth Norton Young; and his son Troy Young. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Young (Jody) and Judy Young; and his brothers, Mickey Young (Lori) and Clark Young. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
