He was predeceased by: his child Elmer. He is survived by: his parents, Melvin Draper and Ella Nora White Draper; his wife Jean; and his children, Alan, Karen Bush, Debra Mondragon, Claudia Garrett and Julie Watts. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
