She was predeceased by: her grandmother Lou Meldrum; her father Kim Higgins; and her siblings, Wendy Wallace and Edward Wallace. She is survived by: her mother Jose Nadene Matthews; her stepfather Guy Matthews; her siblings, Karri Harper (Jerry), Corey Matthews, Mike Robins (Julie), Teri Canaday (Rick), Jennifer Greene (Shayne) and Wade Higgins (Ronnie); and her grandmother Leslie Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nephews.
