It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ortega Syddall (Washington, Utah), born in Costilla, New Mexico, who passed away on June 25, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Ortega and Andrea Ortega; and her siblings, Bernie, Jacob, Juanita, Martha, Mary and Nora.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda (Jeff), Anthony, Carla and Joseph; and her sisters, Ralfaelita and Dee. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was generous with her donations to cancer research and treatments and feeding the hungry.
