He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edwin Lee Hopkins and Ada Bell Condie; his brother Edwin LaRay Hopkins (Michal Thomas); his children, John, Jeanene, Rodney, Susan and Edwin; and his siblings, Eric and Carolyn. He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
