She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Henry Brown and Rhoda Gurena Williams Brown; and her siblings, Ella Dean Brown Hunter, LaNelda Brown Collette, Verlene Brown, Janice Brown Brake Sereano and Lamar Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Boatwright; and her brothers, Lonnie Brown of Chesterfield, VA and Deloss Brown (Barbara Brown) of Carlsbad, NM.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
