He is survived by: his wife Lynette Takane; his children, Joy Takane Cunefare, Scott Takane (Lynn), Jeffrey Takane (Stephanie), Patricia Takane Brown (Michael) and Joni Takane Curtis (Matthew); his stepchildren, Steven Shepherd (Theresa), Laura Shepherd and John Shepherd (Reiko); his daughter-in-law Michele Shepherd (Brian); his children, Karen Kung (Francis) and Jason Quero; and his siblings, May Kan (Sidney) and George Takane. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
