He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry DeWitt Ockey and Alice Winn Ockey; his brothers, Blaine H., Robert F., Norman D. and Gerald L.; and his daughter Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Thomas D. (Sharon Ockey); and his children, Sharilyn (Michael Green), Christine (Bryan Tobler), John (Elena Ockey), Kent (Valerie Ockey), Richard (Tane Ockey) and Jennifer (Tyler Brinkerhoff). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1835 S Washington Fields Rd, Washington, UT 84780). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Wasatch Lawn Cemetery (3401 S Highland Dr, Millcreek, UT 84106).
