He was predeceased by: his brothers, Raul and Joel Salas; and his parents, Silvano and Natalia (Paula). He is survived by: his children, Rick (Vicki), Saul (Debra), Willie, Ruben (late Debra), James, Sam Jr. (Michelle) and Irene Salas-Haro (Ben). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 69 great grandchildren and 6 great, great grandchildren.
