He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Marion Brown Sr. and Minerva Maxine DeWitt. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Redd Brown; and his children, Rachel Grindstaff (Robert), Judith White (Paul), Tom Brown (Leslie), James Brown (Jonni), Seth Brown (Sara), Anna Elmer (Tim) and Leah Brown. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and his two brothers.
