It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Darrell Hortin of Wanship, Utah, who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Charles and Hazel Jane Hixon Hortin; his stepfather Ed Street; and his siblings, Margret Hennek (Jim), Lorraine Young (Vern), Arthur "Chuck" Hortin (Diane) and Frank Hortin (Mavis).

He is survived by: his children, Brenda, Russell (Sue), Lyle (Christa) and Shawn (RaeShel); and his wife Cleone. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
