He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harrell Young and Nita Joyce Jones; his brothers, David Michael Young and Gregory Lane Young; and his nephew Kristopher Young.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Anne Oroian; his children, Tara Snow (Kevin) of Midway, UT, Robin Brown (Russel) of Elk Ridge, UT, James H. Young of San Marcos, TX, Emily Olivo (Chris) of Southbridge, MA and Elizabeth Young of San Francisco, CA.; his brother Steele Young (Caroline); his nieces and nephews, Natalia Young, Carissa Young of San Diego, CA., Jennifer Young-Perlman (Jamie) of San Francisco, CA., Shane Young (Stephanie) of The Colony, TX and Chad Young (Jill) of Frisco, TX.; his grandchildren, Adam Brown (Megan), Lexi Cowley (Benjamin), Julia Black (Collin), Donovan Olivo (Kristen), Abby Wuthrich (Spencer), Spencer Brown (Haylie), Devon Olivo, Olivia Tullis (Samuel), Christopher Olivo (Paige), Haleigh Johnson (Logan), Anna Snow, Avery Brown, Camden Olivo and Emery Olivo; and his great grandchildren, Edel, Milo, Timothy, Benton and Noah. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Lions Club, and the Quilts of Valor Foundation.
