He was predeceased by: his parents, Elman Taylor Child and Ruth Elizabeth Bates Child; his wife Sheila Joan Howells Child; and his son David. He is survived by: his children, JoAnn Koller (Rick), Steve (Cindy), Sheilamarie Soucie and Doug (Shelly); and his brother Darrel (Charlene). He is also survived by Child; 27 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
