He was predeceased by: his parents, Meda Maud Carpenter Speirs and Kenneth Speirs; his daughter DeAnn Morgan; his grandson Blake Huber; and his siblings, Vonda Swain, Naon Cunliff, Glen, George and Harold.

He is survived by: his wife Claire; his children, Karlene Haslem (Brad), Joyette (Gary Baker), Scott (David Harpin), Clint (Mindy) and Ryan (Lesli); and his sister Marcele Huffaker (Don). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren.
