He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd E. Oaks M. D. and Stella Harris Oaks. He is survived by: his children, Dallin and Evelyn; his uncle Dr. L. Weston Oaks; his wife Josephine Ann Christensen; his children, Kathleen (James G. McLaren), Julianna (Howard B. Gee), Amy Jo (Lance N. Long), Gregory Merrill (Susan McDougal), Marlo McKay (Elaine Judd), Tarali (David Rail), Leticia (David M. Strong) and Dana Christensen Sterling (Anna Morgan); and his siblings, Dallin H. Oaks (Kristen McMain) and Evelyn (Lyman Moody). He is also survived by 42 grandchildren and a growing number of great-grandchildren.
