She was predeceased by: her parents, Obed Crosby Haycock and Martha Mary Harding; her former spouse Garl Duaine Gardiner; her husband Donald H. Smith; her grandsons, Robert John and Jason Duaine Shumway; and her brothers, Don, Ralph and Richard Haycock.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Adams (William), Connie, Michael Duaine (RaNae), David Jay (Lydia) and Bette Laracco (Gary); and her sister Lois Porter (Roland). She is also survived by five children, her grandchildren.
