He was predeceased by: his wife Rae Barney; his parents, Leslie Barney and Edna Barney; his siblings, Shirley Barney, Everett Barney, Neil Barney, Reva McCoy and Bessie King; his son Cody Clark (Jamie Wood); and his stepchildren, Casey Owens and Marla Clark.
He is survived by: his children, Hollie Barney (Caleb Thomas), Lisa Jackson (Phil) and Angel Sparger (Brandon); and his siblings, Douglas Barney and Darlene Foster. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
