It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Lee Schmidt of Vernal, Utah, who passed away on January 18, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schmidt and Naomi Grace Parker Schmidt; his son Jason Scott Schmidt; his niece Whitney Jensen; and his nephews, Matthew Rainey and Christopher Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Louchie Ann Ondangan Schmidt; his children, Ashley Marie Schmidt, Aaron Michael Schmidt, Jhon Joseph Schmidt and Zachary Douglas Schmidt; and his siblings, Dean Schmidt (Betty), Clark Schmidt (Laurie), Lisa Larkins (Johnny), Van Schmidt (Maria) and Barbara Lentz (Richard).
