He was predeceased by: his parents, Neva Burton Ashby and Harald Ashby; and his brother Burt McNeill. He is survived by: his brother Clyde Ashby; and his nieces and nephews, Ginger McNeill Bowen, Dianna McNeill Murphy, Kimberly Hogan, Shellie Dee Murphy, Sydney Cox, Danci Dee Birt, Chloe Ashby, Sydney Piantes, Julia Ashby, Curtis Piantes, Clyde Ashby Jr., Danny Demos, Mikel C. Murphy Jr. and Brett Bowen.
