She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Strain and Kay Cudo; her stepfather Chuck Cudo; her father-in-law Jack Elder; and her son Martin Elder.

She is survived by: her husband Marty Elder; her children, Derek Beatrice (Aly), Danielle Beatrice, Mandy Elder and Michael Elder (Nicole); her siblings, Peri Brenner (Glen), Renee Collins (Tim), Craig Strain, Scott Strain (Brandi), Samm Cudo (Gayla) and Todd Cudo; her grandchildren, Emmy, Lucy, Kennedy, Espen, Easton, Emmett and Ezryn; and her mother-in-law Jean Elder. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and an abundance of loving friends.
