He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Stokes and Mabel Stokes; and his siblings, Darrell, Jay, Vernon, Ferris, DeLon and Jean Stokes Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Fae; and his children, Janet Bush (Brian), Doug Stokes (Melanie), Bonnie Cullimore (Nolan), Debbie Deakin (David), Tammy Wright (Brad), Darrin Stokes (Leentje), Scott Stokes (Marsha) and Allison Schenk (Jason). He is also survived by 33 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
