He was predeceased by: his parents, Roberto Mendoza and Juanita Mendoza; his brother Cisco Solis; and his nephew Robert. He is survived by: his former spouse Rayna Hernandez; his daughter Marisa Mendoza (Mario); his granddaughter Annaliyah; and his siblings, Roy Mendoza (Melissa), Alfredo, Gloria and Lydia Tello (Jimmy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
