He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ammon Abel and Frances Brook; and his granddaughter-in-law Sarah. He is survived by: his wife Janet; and his children, Ralph Abel (Dela), Tina Eagar (Mark), Jackie Tolboe (Doug) and Tim Abel (Jillyn). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two siblings.
