She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Vinson Griner and Mildred Leola Ball Griner; her husband Marcus Ronald Johnson, Sr.; her brother Virgil Vincent Griner; her son Vincent Leon Griner Hodge; and her great grandchildren, Riker Evans and Miles Hendry.
She is survived by: her children, Rise'Hodge Johnson, Marsan Hodge Hewett, Alicia Sanders Wood and Mildred Sanders Wright; and her grandchildren, Chad Hewett, Nate'Sushereba Davis, Ashley Hewett Kelly, Christopher Hendry, Madison Hewett, Cerani Hendry Whitehurst, Trace Bergman, Alexander Hendry, Jessica Evans, Aaron Evans, Tyler Hendry, Logan Jones, Emily Evans and Peyton Jones Cunningham. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
