He was predeceased by: his father James S. Smith; his daughter Marilyn Bronson; and his mother Rebecca Smith. He is survived by: his close friend Marilyn Lloyd Smith; his children, LaShelle Kerby (Alan) and Escondido; his wife Marilyn; and his children, Leslie Elaine and Brent Lloyd Smith of New Port, OR. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
