He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Gladstone Burgess and Mary Violet Burgess; his wife LaWana Estep; and his children, Brady, LaDonna Connors (Gary), Toni Perry, Todd Burgess, Shawn Burgess and Jeremy Burgess (Heidi). He was also cherished by 22 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
