He is survived by: his siblings, Roger Smart (Dorthy) and Debra Kovach (Fred) of Idaho Falls; and his children, Jonathan Smart, Melissa Nelson (Jeremy) and Anna Warren. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
