He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Cleveland Atkin and Lilly Annie Cross; his brother Fred Atkin; his grandchildren, Brandee Jo Atkin and Daniel Atkin; his son Scott Atkin; his daughter-in-law Vickie Atkin; and his great-nephew Jeremy Atkin.
He is survived by: his wife Elma Wheeler of Lewiston, Utah.; and his sons, Dee, Blake, Elden and Cleve Atkin (late Vickie) of Riverside, Utah. He is also survived by his 34 grandchildren and 75 great-grandchildren.
