He was predeceased by: his father Allen E. Nye; and his stepfather Dale Geddes. He is survived by: his wife Joni Griggs; his mother Nina Kay Nye Geddes; his daughters, Chelsea [Benjamin] Nieporte, Shawni [Trevor] Dimond and Kyli [Michael] Summerhays; and his siblings, Valerie [Tracy] Larson and Troy [Cindy] Nye. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
