He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Petersen and Maxine Petersen; and his brother Kenny Petersen. He is survived by: his wife Marti Sue Anderson Peterson; his children, Dayna Sue Petersen Perez (Amando), Taylor Petersen (Nicole Neilson) and Taschii Petersen; and his grandchildren, Arianna Perez, Gabriel Perez, Isaiah Darin Perez, Eizley Petersen, Eckoe Petersen and Cameron Banuelos.
