He was predeceased by: his children, Johnny McCardle, Balinda Schofield and Calvin Don McCardle. He is survived by: his wife Mareen Andersen McCardle; and his children, Tamara Brown (Kent), Yvonne Leavitt and Tad Alan McCardle. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.
