He is survived by: his wife Juanita Austin Stevens; his daughters, Terry Meeks (Rick) and Michelle Laws (Ryan); his grandchildren, Angela Checketts (Jacob), Kody McBride (Vonda Michelle) of Hyrum and Dalton McBride (Sierra) of Benson, Utah.; his great grandchildren, Jaycee Fox (Connor), Garrett Checketts, Kyle Checketts, Brooklyn Checketts, Karsyn McBride, Paityn McBride and Kylie McBride; his sisters-in-law, Ann and Barbara Stevens; and his sister Marion Hagler (Verl).
During his time at Thiokol Corporation, he received numerous achievement awards that highlighted his remarkable contributions to the company.
