She is survived by: her children, Michael Strand (Elara), Marilyn Larsen, Bob Strand (Mary), Laurie Moore (Kelly), Timothy Strand, Robin Strand and Larry Strand (Trang); and her brother Dr. Lee J. Malan. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
