He was predeceased by: his parents, Joris Veltman and Johanna Veltman; and his siblings, Johanna Ekenstam Franklin and John Veltman. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Fonger (Earl), Peter Veltman Jr., Janette Shepard (Luke) and Joey Veltman; his stepchildren, James McClinton (Michelle) and Joyce Ann Nuttall; and his sisters, Alida Ostberg (Karl), Maria Spencer and Martina Thomas (Grant). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
