She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter H. Sirstins and Grete Sirstins (Arndt); her former spouse Groo Jensen; her siblings, Walter, Margaret, Ruth, Elaine, Betty and Groo; and her nephew Jeff.
She is survived by: her husband Leroy Nelson (Buzz); her sister Shirley Griffiths; and her children, Michael (Theresa Jensen), Jill (Steve VanVleet), Robyn (Lynn Bitton) and Bruce Nelson. She is also survived by Eight grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
