He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Vorwaller and Bernice Vorwaller (Johnson); his former wife Inge Fleischer; his son Alan; and his brothers, Darrell and Blaine Vorwaller.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Bourdon; his children, Christine Miller (Tom), Kathy Vorwaller and Stevan Vorwaller (Tami); his stepchildren, Karrie Prochko (Steve), David Bourdon (Alicia), Stephen Bourdon (Megan) and Mandy England (Bill); and his siblings, Wes, Terry Vorwaller and LuAnn VonHatten. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
