She was predeceased by: her husband Duane Edward Burns; her parents, James Phelan Smith and Madge Winsor Smith; her grandson Taylor Phelan Mattson; her son-in-law Tim Mattson; and her siblings, James Smith (Dorothy), Peggy Tueller (Wilford), William Smith (Glenna), Theresa Canham (Ronald) and Karl Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Gordon Burns (Diane), Sharlene Cranney (Alan), MaryAnn Hagblom, David Burns (Jill) and Linda Mattson; her brother Kirby Smith (Donna); and her sister-in-law Earlene Smith. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
