He is survived by: his siblings, Lois Barker, Greg McDonough (Karel), Jesse Smith (Shiela) and Cynthia Smith (Cindy Smith); his sister-in-law Kay Albrechtsen (Cecil); and his nephew Ray. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
