He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal Lucian Matson and Ethel Fay Matson (Halladay); and his siblings, Leslie Matson (Esther), Ron Matson (Helen), Elaine Cook-Moosman, Linda Danjanovic (Paul), Marge Larson (Bob), Lois Frank (Mike) and Donna Callahan (Chuck).
He is survived by: his children, Steve Matson (Tammy), Ken Matson (Denise), Curt Matson, Tisha Vaculin, Katie Matson and Kelsey Matson; and his sister Marilyn VanDam (Ted). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the McDougal Funeral Home - C/D (4330 S Redwood Rd, Taylorsville, UT 84123). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
