He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathy Brennenstahl; his brother Melvin Briggs; and his father S. Navy. He is survived by: his siblings, Theron and Glade; his former wife Julia P. McGuire; his children, Randy, Kevin, Barry, Jimmy Briggs, Susan Pfeifer, Brenda Mansfield and Julia Simonsen; his siblings, Duane Briggs and Betty Lou Jensen; and his wife Pat. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
