He was predeceased by: his brother Nicholas Patrick; his grandparents, Ron Powell, Irvin and Stella Mascher; and his father-in-law Kenneth Mitchell Smith.
He is survived by: his parents, Ric Powell and JoAnn Powell; his wife Heather Joy Smith; his pet Zeus; his brother Eric (Maria); his mother-in-law Linda Moscoso (Arturo); his sister-in-law Holly Lancaster (Wess); and his nieces and nephews, Ethan, Emma Powell, Emery and Lincoln Lancaster. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
