She was predeceased by: her parents, Ormus William Stephenson and Ezel Phoebe Benson; her husband William Stanley Hemphill; her siblings, Donald William, Nels Anthony and Ruby Joy; and her cousin Earl John Steiger.
She is survived by: her children, Edwin William Hemphill (Kathleen) and Mary Ann Hemphill Erdmann (Mark). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the River Ridge First Ward (10124 S 1300 W, South Jordan, UT 84095). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Holden Cemetery (200 E St & N Cemetery Rd, Holden, UT 84636).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in the name of Mary June Stephenson Hemphill to the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, an organization she cherished deeply for over 40 years.
