She was predeceased by: her parents, Grandale Finlayson and Violet Finlayson; her close friend Marcus; and her sons, Marcus Erik Holmgren and Thomas Holmgren.

She is survived by: her children, Ann Roberts, Jane Brown (Steve), John Holmgren (Leslie) and Nels Holmgren (Emily). She is also survived by 11 grandsons and 11 granddaughters, as well as 19 great-grandchildren.
