In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joseph had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Joseph may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Henry McElprang and Estella Mabel Johnson McEplrang. He is survived by: his wife Ina Vee Keele McElprang; and his children, Elaine Mortensen (Kevin), Janet Carr (Richard), John McElprang (Teresa) and Joe McElprang (Rozane). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glenmoor 2nd Ward (9455 S 4800 W, South Jordan, UT 84009). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Valley View Memorial Park (W 4100 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84120).
