He is survived by: his father Sonora; his wife Bernice Cortez; his children, Robert Cortez (Mischante), Jesse Cortez and Lorie Cortez; his grandsons, Anthony Cortez (Amanda) and Daniel Ramsey (Dawn); and his son Shaun Murdock. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
