He was predeceased by: his former wife Shannon Oliver; his son Mark Oliver; his parents, Vern Oliver and Verda Oliver; and his siblings, Wayne Oliver and Arlene Roth.

He is survived by: his wife Ansje; his stepchildren, Mike Blanchard (Riki), Matt Blanchard (Natalie), Kim Bailey (Jeremiah) and Ben Blanchard (Jill); and his children, Colleen Collier (Scot), Glenn Oliver (Cindy) and Anne Jaynes (Steve). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Viewing was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (5775 S 2700 W, Taylorsville, UT 84129). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Valley View Memorial Park and Funeral Home (4100 S & S 4400 W, West Valley City, UT 84120).
