He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl William Wasden and Ida Bevan Johnson Wasden; his former wife Mary; his great grandchild Jordan (Mary); and his granddaughter Chelsea.

He is survived by: his wife Joan; his stepson Doug; and his children, Ray (Sue), Roy (Linda), Becky (Van), Bevan (Laura), LaMar (Katia), Fred (Jeannie), Sandy and Mary (Mat). He is also survived by 43 grandchildren, 98 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

“Joan, I was so sad to hear of Bruce’s passing. He was a wonderful man! I enjoyed sense of humor and always appreciated his support during the time he served as principal at Fox Hills. I would have been at the viewing Thursday, however my health is not good, no strength. I’m struggling with cancer-###. My love and thoughts are with you. Best wishes to you! Love, Janice Thomas”
