He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan William Palmer and Eva Marie Carlsen Palmer; his wife Helen; his children, Charlton Robert Palmer and Sue Ann Palmer; and his sisters, Nancy Ludwig and Kathryn Palmer.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Kent Palmer (Debra) of Idaho Falls, ID, Bryon Scott Palmer of Farr West, UT, Debra Dee Reed of Syracuse, UT and Cameron Thomas Palmer (Lene) of Eagle Mountain, UT; and his daughter-in-law Jill Baker Cluff (Ben). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
