We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2024, at the age of 78, Reid J Child (Syracuse, Utah), born in Ogden, Utah passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Reid J Child to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Gibson and Roscoe Edward Child; his brother Glenn Child; his son-in-law Brent Martin; and his granddaughters, Aubrey Myler and Anna Thorne.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita; and his children, Shelly Myler (Curtis), Curtis Reid (Heidi), Tanya Hipwell (Jason), Cammy Black (Mike), Amanda Hansen (Steve), Natalie Thorne (Steve) and Amy Scott (Andrew). He is also survived by siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to extend the invitation to find a way to serve the missionaries by donating to the general mission fund, feed the missionaries, or serve others. Reid and Juanita enjoyed writing letters, donating to the missionary fund and have fed many missionaries throughout their marriage.
