He was predeceased by: his parents, Manasseh William Smith and Afton Eileen Cleverly; and his brothers, Dean and Bill. He is survived by: his daughters, Alicia (Tim), Mindy (Ray) and Carrie (Kenton). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
